Lacey was born in Hilo, Hawaii but moved to the pine forests of Prescott when she was young. Lacey was drawn to the arts early in life, but her passion bloomed in high school years. She created collages and paintings strongly influenced by Roy Litchenstien. Lacey has always been drawn to bright, bold color, which she explored through different mediums in school. She went on to study Fine Arts at Northern Arizona University In Flagstaff Arizona. Here she was introduced to the prolific artists, Gustave Baumann and Eduardo Paolozzi, both master printers. It was this work that guided Lacey to define her own style in both printmaking and painting. She graduated with a BFA in Printmaking in 2014 and has shown her work in galleries in Flagstaff, Jerome and Prescott, Arizona. In 2020 she was published in the groundbreaking first edition of Canvas Magazine located in Tucson Arizona. She is currently working as an artist in Prescott, Arizona.
